FormAssembly fields - Alternative
Directly link values from Salesforce to specific FormAssembly fields. Example: SFMC formatted URL: infinitaslearning.tfaforms.net/XXXX?tfa_2541=%%DEFIELD%%
  • In your SFMC email, add the Salesforce CampaignMemberID from the target Data Extension.
  • This will be filled-in into the form field below.
  • Afterwards you can use this parameter to perform a Salesforce Object Lookup in the frontend of the form.

Campaign Member Status
Goal

Update the Campaign Member Status after a form submission.

Instructions

Prerequisite:
Set a custom CampaignMemberStatus for each SFSC Campaign before using this form. This is done on SFSC Campaign level (Campaign Member Statuses). 
  • Add this 'custom CampaignMemberStatus' as a default value in the form field below (tfa_2543). This will be used in the Salesforce Connector of this FormAssembly form.
  • The Salesforce Connector will update the CampaignMemberStatus for the CampaignMemberId accordingly.
Examples:
  • Standard SFSC Campaign Member Statuses:
    • Default: Sent
    • Alternative: Responded
  • Custom SFSC Campaign Member Statuses:
    • Afgemeld, Startmateriaal, Toelichting, ...

FormAssembly Template

  • Before deleting sections in the cloned form, take a look at the existing 'event' form: Plantyn - NL - SE - Infosessies - 2024-2025 (FA 1390). 
  • If you need to work with leads or opportunities, use version B and adapt the MQL elements in the Salesforce Connector.
  • Every form is custom, and the template offers pieces to assemble together. 

SFSC Campaigns

The sessions are currently configured as a FormAssembly variable, called 'EventCampaignID'. Which means that you can assign SFSC Campaign ID's for each individual session. 

 

In a calculated field (e.g., SFSC Lead preparation), you can recall the SFSC Campaign ID.

 

FA Notifications - Text

With the text areas below, you can dynamically update the FormAssembly notifications (message and/or email) based on the selected event location and session. 

 

Modify the 'default value' (see 'Options') and use basic HTML markup code.

Email Verification - Hidden
In the custom code of this form is a piece of javascript that will generate an error message when the two inputted email addresses are different.

The text 'ERROR' is generated when the two email variables don't match. This is done via a calculation that compares the variables EMAIL with EMAILVERIFICATION.

This field is triggered when the ERROR text appears in "EMAIL ERROR" (tfa_1925).
When this field is triggered, the combination of a required field with an empty value will block the form.
